One of the promising youngster in Mumbai circuit is Jeet Shah. This 09-year old boy from Goregaon is the reigning State Champion and has the potential to become a titled player. His talent was once again evident in round 3 of SBI Life 5th National Amateur Chess Championship in progress here at Thakur College of Science & Commerce.
In his game against the seasoned campaigner Sanjeev Nair, Jeet displayed flawless technique after a slight inaccuracy by his opponent allowed him to win a pawn. It is never easy to convert this advantage especially when all major pieces are still on the board. But Jeet displayed great maturity in handling this position!
Without doubt, the game was adjudged as best game of 'Round 3'!! Congratulations, Jeet!
